Can't beat that price. I haven't noticed any troubles with it at all and it works great with another speaker system bought from another company. I live in middle of Houston and this antenna is set up inside on the windowsill. It also worked sitting in the middle of the room on a table. I'm extremely glad I bought it.
He is very happy the way it performs. I would buy again from Amazon. I bought this item as a gift for my son. Amazon.com shipped my order very promptly.
Arrived in good shape with all components.Hooked up right away, and it works perfect. Received product in a couple of Days. I now use my Satallite Radio inside and outside.
I have 1-2 bars but one bar is enough. I set the antenna on the window sill pointing generally southeast (since my window faces east). I would have mounted the antenna outside if required but it works through the window just fine. Just opened the box on this refurbished unit. I plugged in the power cord, antenna, amp connection, and Starmate 5, and I'm up and running just like that. I also purchased the magnetic antenna so I can use this unit in my truck on long trips (I have to steal it from my wife's car of course).
However, I did have to buy a separate cable to plug into my speaker system. Once you find the cable, the product works great. The Sirius product works great. The cables that come with the product do not fit a standard head phone jack so you are required to purchase one that will actually work.
